Our Oat Meal Soap recipe is nearly two decades old and still flawless. Our vision was to craft a cleansing product that delicately purifies the skin without causing irritation or dryness. Soap became our choice due to its convenience, abundance, and ability to lather. Our success in this endeavor has been remarkable, with even the most skeptical discovering our soap as a dependable cleanser. It has provided relief to many afflicted with dry skin and enabled even the most sensitive individuals to cleanse effectively. Plus, its portability makes it ideal for travel! While the texture of the soap may initially feel unfamiliar, your skin will soon adjust and find its natural balance.
In the evening, moisten hands with water and lather the soap between hands until smooth foam develops. Massage over face and rinse away with water.
The soap is perfect for removing make-up, if necessary, the cleansing can be repeated.
No fillers, additives, added fragrances, essential oils, preservatives or alcohol.
Niki Newd® Oatmeal Soap is made from the following fresh ingredients:
- RAPESEED OIL (Finnish, cold pressed, organic, food grade)
- COCONUT OIL (food grade)
- SPRING WATER (from Finnish Lapland)
- OATMEAL (freshly ground, Finnish, gluten free, food grade)
Oats prevent the itching and protect skin from the harmful effects of UV-radiation. Oats have been used to moisturize, cleanse and calm the skin.
Betaglucan found in oats is a substance that absorbs easily into the skin and has calming, moisturizing and anti-irritant effects. According to studies, betaglucan enhances the regeneration of the skin and strengthens it by increasing the cell division of collagen producing cells. Betaglucan also protects the skin from the infections and damages caused by UV-radiation and therefore prevents wrinkles and other signs of aging.
Vitamin E shields cell membranes and DNA from oxidation, guards skin against UV damage, has anti-inflammatory effects, and enhances microcirculation.
We use an artisan soap making process where the naturally occurring, moisturizing glycerine is not removed from the soap. Gourmet superfat added.
