One to three spritzes, emulsified between your palms with any Niki Newd cream or oil-serum, is enough to transform it into a version customised for exactly what your skin is asking for that day. Because it holds no oils or fillers of its own, the texture always comes from what you choose to blend it with — never fixed, always yours to build.

Aroma

Delicate and barely-there, with only the faintest milk-soft note carried by the lactose itself, settling into the sheer, unscented quality of the actives it holds. Not added, not designed. What you smell is what nourishes you.

Lactose

Known for its role as a water-soluble humectant, helping bind moisture to the skin's surface as part of a blend. It's also a prebiotic sugar: skin-resident bacteria such as Lactobacillus can use it as a food source, while many less desirable microbes cannot metabolise it as readily — a selective mechanism, distinct from an antibacterial one.

Betaine

An osmolyte studied for its role in supporting skin's fluid balance and helping skin appear less prone to dryness, including under everyday environmental stress.

Vitamin C

Well-documented for its antioxidant role and its involvement in collagen formation. Research has observed its association with a reduced appearance of visible signs of skin ageing and uneven tone.

Vitamin B5 (Panthenol)

Well-documented for its role in supporting moisture retention and helping skin feel more comfortable day to day. Associated with helping skin look calmer and feel smoother, and known for its role in softening the appearance of fine lines.

Glucosamine

Morning and evening

Warm a small amount of your chosen cream or oil-serum between your palms. Add one to three spritzes of Skin Mist and blend them together before pressing gently into cleansed skin. Gentle enough for the delicate eye area.

How much to use

Because Skin Mist is water-based and contains no oils, fillers, or thickeners of its own, one to three spritzes is all it takes to shift the texture and hydration level of whatever you're blending it with. Adjust the amount based on how rich or light you want that day's blend to feel.

Best before

Fresh skincare works differently from heavily preserved formulas. To enjoy the full benefit of its active ingredients, use within two months of opening. It's also preservative-free and alcohol-free — nothing here works against the skin's own microbial balance. This is why we keep it refrigerated and blend it fresh, in small batches.

Storage

Store in the refrigerator, away from direct light. Refrigeration, not room temperature, is what keeps this formula fresh and stable without preservatives.

I never wanted it to be an extra step in anyone's routine. Instead, I designed it to blend seamlessly into whatever you already own, carrying vitamin C and hydrating nutrients straight into it. That's the whole idea behind mixing: a few drops into a rich night cream for extra nourishment, or stirred through a lightweight morning serum — however your skin is asking to be met that day.
